Many Americans are working remotely and if you’re one of them, you know that big-ticket electronic items that you might need for work take up to a month to get delivered to your doorstep if you order them online. But time is money and that’s where Best Buy’s curbside pickup service comes in.
It’s convenient, quick, and most importantly contactless and safe. If you’re new to the service, we’ve created a foolproof guide for how you can order and pick up your purchases at your local Best Buy. This is contactless shopping at its finest and it’s as easy as apple pie.
Step one: Visit Bestbuy.com or download the Best Buy app.
Step two: Browse the site or app for items that you need, add them to your cart, and select Curbside Pickup before you hit check out. If you’re using the website or app for the first time it will ask you for a working email id which you should furnish.
Step three: Check your email for a confirmation of your order and a designated pickup time. If the item you’ve ordered is a big-ticket item, this might take a couple of days. Most orders will be ready for pick up within two days.
Step four: Have your ID, the order confirmation, and the credit card you used for the purchase ready for when you drive to the store.
Step five: When you arrive at the store at the designated time, follow the instructions in your email to find your parking space and notify Best Buy employees that you have arrived.
Step six: Wait for a Best Buy employee to bring the order out to the car. Open the trunk or a car door for them to place the order inside your vehicle.
Remember to check the website to see whether a curbside pickup service is available in your location before you place your order. You can always try adjusting your location manually to avail of this service if it isn’t.
