New Year sales: These usually run through the first two weeks of January and is a great way to spend your Christmas bonus.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Stock up on beauty essentials and cosmetics. Many retailers offer attractive discounts on great products to clear up shelf space.

Presidents’ Day: This is the only time in the whole year that you’ll get a great price on mattresses. Sales last through the long weekend.

Easter sales: Apart from candy, treat baskets, and Easter-themed gifts, the week leading up to Easter Sunday is great for shopping the latest spring fashion at a few select department stores.

Memorial Day: Scour the market for deals on a range of home appliances. 

Fathers Day: Head to home improvement stores for deals on grills and home improvement tools. You don’t have to give all of them to your dad either.

Fourth of July: This year, this holiday is on a Saturday which translates to a weekend worth of irresistible sales.

Amazon Prime Day: This day is the Black Friday of July sales. Retailers offer deep discounts on a range of products in tech.

Tax-free weekends and Labor Day: August and September have back-to-school season sales, which are great for saving money on clothing, stationery, and school supplies. If you live in a state that offers tax-free weekends, you can purchase a range of items without a sales tax. If not, scour the stores for discounts on Labor Day in September.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday: Cyber Monday is on the last day of November this year which is a great time to shop for gifts, tech, and clothing for the holiday season.
